Compost Site

The Compost Site is open Wednesdays and Saturdays, 9 am to 2 pm. This facility accepJohn Deere Loader 2ts leaves, brush, yard waste, scrap metal, and wooden pallets.

  •  The site is limited to residents of West Bradford and East Bradford Township. 
  • Fees for the compost site (PDF)
  • Biodegradable bags only, no plastic bags accepted.
  • All branches cannot exceed 10 inches in diameter and 8 feet long.
  • We do not accept stumps, roots, rocks, bricks, pavers, food scraps or dirt. We will update the website when the front-end loader will be available for residents to load material.
  • We no longer accept Pressure-Treated Lumber.
  • Scrap metal (except freon items) is accepted for no fee.

Yard waste cannot be burned - it is against the Township ordinance to burn recyclables (leaves and sticks are considered recyclable by mulching). Please see the Ordinance. Also, visit the Leaf and Brush Collection.

The front-end loader will be available between March 29 and June 28 for residents wishing to have mulch loaded.
